This marine electrical engineering company with international growth plans needed to replace an obsolete ERP system with a platform more suited to larger scale and increasingly international operations, with greater specific functionality for its core project, refit and service activities. The company selected 4PS Construct, a system based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV, to serve as this platform.
Nick led the rollout of this system to multiple European locations. Functions covered included financials, purchasing and supply chain management, engineering project control, project calculation, service management, spare parts sales, time recording and invoicing. Integrations included incoming invoice scanning, the EPLAN engineering system and Mercash HR. He guided middle management through the deployment of new processes for project calculation, project control and supply chain management enabled by the system. During this period he acted as interim CIO, reporting to the CFO.
